BLUE JAY is a slow burn thriller from filmmaker Michael Ciulla. Shot on location in the wilds of Mount Whitney (the tallest mountain in the continental US), the thriller follows the ill-fated hiking trip of relatively new couple Ashley (Sara Lindsey) and Jack (Travis Aaron Wade). Atop the mountain’s peak, the pair grow uneasy after an encounter with a peculiar band of nomads. As tension rises and events unfold, Ashley and Jack’s descent becomes a matter of survival.

The film was released in December 2016 via Gravitas.
